Hello fellow adventurers!

My name is Mariya, I’m originally from Bulgaria but live with my family and our Samoyed pup Chloe in Boston, MA (I dare you to scavenger hunt for a picture of Chloe on the site 😉

Like many fellow travel advisors, I have been passionate about travel and have been visiting many places around the world for a long time now. What sets me apart is my professional background in the field – I have a B.S. in Geography and Tourism Management, I’m a licensed advisor through my affiliate with Fora Advisory Group and I keep current with trends in the industry – so rest assured you are in good hands!

I created Adventurous Getaways with the goal to share my knowledge and excitement about travel with people like you and help others learn about and design unforgettable experiences away from home!
